Another very informative and entertaining video ... Thanks!
I wish I could turn one that fast.🙂🙂
Hello, nice to see you again!
Good Day, great job, someone comment where does the batteries go, 😂, the strange thing is I have two sets of pepper and salt Mills, and yes, they are battery operated, but very annoying when the battery goes flat?, As I am a specialist joiner Cabinet maker, and have produced thousands of pepper pots back in the 1999 2000, I should get my act together and put what I’ve got left over together to make some hand operated pepper and salt Mills, Keep up the great work, stay safe, France,
That's the point. I have a manual one but it is 2 hands operated. Do you mean there are one arm version?
@@isaacnguyen6944 Battery operated once, You just hold the device in one hand and press the button on the top, The Mills that I used to make you just hold the body with one hand , and twist the top with the other,
I did this type of turning about 2 years ago. Like what you experienced, my wood cracked and really hurt the appeared of the form. Then I decided to try something I have never seen done before. I used steam from a portable steam machine to heat the wood around the Crack so it could be bent, reshaped, glued and clamped. My luck was pretty good the first time I tried this, but not so good on some other hollow forms. Every piece of wood is different. Sometimes this technique works, other times it doesn't. BTW, the walls of the hollow wood form need to be thin; about .25" or 6-7mm.
The first time I saw the full video was a few days ago. The day after when I was preparing my salad dressing and adding some pepper I had a feeling that something was missing from your video. And then it hit me during the night : you didn't show where to put the batteries!
@@isaacnguyen6944 hahaha!
@@ronaldkanne Funny my computer ask me if it should translate your message to english! Obviously it computed that is was a flamish laugh ! (just teasing a niederlander)
Ronald where would I find the drill for pepper mill like you used
I’m 57. I’ve never used a hairbrush or a comb on my lid. Just don’t see the point. This is how I look. Your hair? Looks fine to me.
Only just found this one. Nice one Lies, that certainly got Ronald working. A beautiful piece of Yew, a beautiful hollow form, a beautiful tribute to Beau, bless her.
Great video. Tooling is the best
That is a Cool Piece. Thank you for the tutorial on thread chasing. I have been wondering how that is done.
Oh Ronald, stop ashing around. Is it possible to shape the top (below the nozzles) before you glue the pieces back together?
Excellent video ,& the sanding jig is pure gold of an idea.
What a great piece
You aways make it look so easy! Thank you!
Brilliant demo, thanks for sharing. Well explained and great camera work!!
@@Ian-xy7xi thank you!
Top. Keep on turning. Groeten uit België.
How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
@@JanB1979 that made me chuckle...😀
Hello Ronald nice and funny video as usual , but please tell me, where dud you get that cool gizmo that fit your fortsner bit and make also the holes for the grinder mecanism at the beginning of your video?
